Dear IVRJ 2023 participants,
On behalf of the IVRJ 2023 Organising Committee, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your active participation in our conference held at Chiba University from 16 to 18 September 2023.
We are pleased to inform you that we are planning to publish the selected papers read at the conference as an ARSP Beiheft (supplement). Papers on any topic in philosophy of law, political philosophy, ethics, and applied ethics are welcome, but papers related to the conference theme ‘East Meets West: Justice, Law and Politics’ will be given particular consideration. Please note the following important details:
Deadline for paper submission: The deadline for submission of papers is 7 January 2024, 23:59 JST (14:59 UTC). Please note that we cannot grant any extensions after this date.
Submission email: Please submit your paper as a Word document attachment to 2023@ivrj.org. Please include the name of the author (or first author in the case of co-authored papers) in the file name of the Word document.
Paper requirements: Submitted papers should be in English and between 4,000 and 6,000 words, including footnotes. Please ensure that your submission complies with the ARSP Beihefte – Guidelines. Please ensure that you follow the guidelines, as failure to do so may be grounds for rejection.
Originality: Submitted papers must be previously unpublished and original work presented at IVRJ 2023.
Co-authors: Adding persons who did not participate as co-authors is not allowed.
English proofreading: Authors whose first language is not English are responsible for ensuring that their papers are proofread in English.
Review process: All submitted papers will undergo a peer review process.
Publication rights: We have not publicly distributed the IVRJ 2023 Proceedings, so if you do not submit your paper to us, you are free to submit the same content to other journals or publications.

While the exact dates and location have not yet been finalised, we will keep you informed as these details are confirmed.
